Ready for the real one? Apply as a buying agent

Before you apply

What you are joining, in plain words.

The questions a careful professional asks first, answered.

The standard everyone here meets

  1. You apply by name, with your registered business and your tax number.
  2. A person at CIASA reads your application and checks your business and tax details before you are let in, usually within two business days.
  3. The same standard applies to every agent, lawyer and adviser you will work with here. It is the network’s rule, not a badge.

Your clients stay your clients

Selling agents see

  • Your client’s brief, anonymised: area, budget band, type, deal-breakers
  • Three signals: property fit, lifestyle fit and readiness
  • That a buying agent represents them

They never see

  • Your client’s name or contact details
  • How your client is paying
  • A way around you: every pitch comes to your Review Queue first, unless you choose to forward them automatically

Your first day

  1. Apply in two minutes and create your login.
  2. We review your application, usually within two business days, and email you when you are in.
  3. Pitches for your clients arrive in your Review Queue. Nothing reaches a client until you approve it, unless you turn on automatic forwarding.

Straight answers

Should a buying agent join CIASA?
It depends on how you source homes for your clients. If you represent international buyers and want matched homes brought to you, CIASA fits: selling agents pitch to your client’s anonymised brief, every pitch reaches your client only through you, and you can bring your own clients. Joining costs nothing; you earn a share of CIASA’s fee on the deals your clients complete. If your own network already finds every home your clients need, the gain is smaller.
What does it cost?
Nothing to join. You earn a share of CIASA’s fee on the deals your clients complete; the split is set out on your fees page once you are in.
Can selling agents reach my clients directly?
No. They pitch an anonymised brief, and the pitch reaches your client only through you.
Can I bring my own clients?
Yes. Add them to your list and every pitch for them comes through you.
